YouSendIt – The heavy lifting file sending service added a new property called SiteDrop.
SiteDrop allows visitors to your site send you a file through an embeddable widget, so they don’t have to sign up for their own account – just drop it and go, Blockbuster video style. Once the file is received, an alert is sent to your inbox. Although SD comes with a $30/month fee, the service “really helps to extend the capabilities of basic email functionality, and broadens the scope of any business that needs to deal with sending large files. A design firm, developers, an advertising company, or a media solutions service may find SiteDrop to be quite useful, for enhancing an easier relationship between customers, clients and themselves.”
